Student Work Placements

Current Stage 3 restrictions preclude any work placements being conducted. We are hopeful that many students will get an opportunity to gain a valuable workplace experience later in the year. Luckily, before COVID-19 restrictions reached the next stage, we had about eighty very fortunate students (mainly Year 10’s) who were able to complete work placements over a week. As usual the Shepparton community stepped up and provided placements across a range of settings including; schools, hospital, engineering, plumbing, building, electrical, hair & beauty, automotive, food manufacturing, newspaper, building design, auto body repairs, wildlife, orchards, fitness, physiotherapy and animal grooming!

They all had a wonderful time and are beginning to understand just how fortunate they were to get the opportunity.
