NAS (Northern Associated School) Nominations Term 2 – Winter Sport

NAS Sport started again this week after a break for senior exams, this week's round we played against Sacred Heart College. Our final round robin fixture before finals is against Chisholm College on Monday 18 June – Wednesday 20 June. Following that, teams that finish in the top four will play off for first or third place in the NAS finals week.

 

A copy of the fixtures, venues and information regarding NAS Sport is available on the College website. A reminder that students need to inform the teacher in charge of their sport well in advance if they are unavailable to fulfill their commitment.

John XXIII College – 2018 ACC All Star Swimmers

'All Star' teams are selected in athletics, swimming and cross-country. The team is an "All ACC" honorary team consisting of the best performer(s) in each event across all schools and divisions within the association. It is a great achievement to be selected in an 'All Star' team across more than 70 schools. All students selected in an 'All Star' team are presented with a commemorative badge and certificate of acknowledgment from the ACC.

ACC All Stars Basketball teams (boys and girls)

Player nominations for the ACC All Stars Basketball teams (boys and girls) are now open to all ACC school students.  Please see attached flyer.  The ACC is calling for nominations from interested and talented players. The cost of nomination is $16.00 per person, this cost will be covered by the College.

Once the teams are selected, they will play against the Combined Government Schools at Bendat Stadium on Sunday afternoon 14 October 2018.  This is a fantastic opportunity for talented players to prove themselves in a high quality game.  Trials will be held in Term 3 (dates and venue to be confirmed).  Players will be informed of trial dates and times once confirmed.
