From the Principal

It has been a particularly busy term with students involved in a broad range of activities which will be evident as you read through this newsletter.

Congratulations to Alicia Scott who has earned the Australian Scout Medallion

To attain the top award in each of five sections in Scouting reflects initiative in tackling this challenge, sustained effort over many months and years, plus self – discipline, teamwork and leadership.

Congratulations to Alicia on this wonderful and inspiring achievement.

Congratulations Ashleigh Harris

Ashleigh Harris (12A) was recently celebrated as a finalist in the Glen Eira City Council’s Young Citizen of the Year Award.  Ashleigh was presented with her finalists' certificate by the Mayor of Glen Eira City Council and was welcomed onto the stage with nine other worthy nominees.

Ashleigh is one of our school vice-captains and was recognised for her advocacy on behalf of her peers as well for organising a range of student-focused activities including the college's Relay for Life team.

Ashleigh has demonstrated strong leadership skills in a range of endeavours and she is a gifted public speaker. She was voted onto school council in 2018 and is a member of the SRC. She represented the college at the Model UN Conference.

Ashleigh is polite and courteous and she works well with students and adults alike. She has a strong academic record and has demonstrated sound effort and achievement across a broad range of subjects.
