Assistant Principal - Curriculum

Staff at the College recently participated in a research project being conducted by Learning First on behalf of NESA. The project was a thematic review into teachers' use of assessment, in order to better support teaching practice and student learning by improving teachers' understanding and use of assessment, and by promoting effective assessment design and practice. Staff were involved in a series of interviews where the research team hoped to elicit and better understand current thinking about and approaches to assessment from K-12.

This week we received affirmation related to our involvement in the review. "It is a great opportunity for us to see a school that is so deliberately considering what assessment is best for improving student learning. What we have learned from your school will certainly make a big impact on our project with NESA."

Congratulations to all the staff involved.
