Year 7 Accelerated Japanese

Year 7 Accelerated Japanese didn’t let remote learning get in their way of learning how to write the kanji for ‘big’ and ‘small’ in Japanese. They met the challenge of ‘writing’ them with objects they could find in their home.

Have a look at their efforts and this is what they said about the experience:

Jayden: It helped to learn the kanji and I had fun building the kanji with LEGO

Zach: I do think it helped me with my learning and I loved making the video.

Jet: It was different from other classwork and it did help me to learn the Kanji of the letter.

Aidyn: I really enjoyed the task, it really helped me learn the Kanji for big and small. I had fun because it was a difference to regular Japanese Class.

Heath: It helped me remember the kanji since I had to create the letter with objects around my house. I found it fun.

Havanna: it was fun and I enjoyed it and it helped me learn the kanji

Lehansa: I thought this activity was creative and fun

Cayla: thanks for teaching us sensei
