Well done for navigating your way and making it through another challenging term 3! What an achievement in some extraordinary circumstances. We appreciate all the effort, hard work, patience, and perseverance that everyone has shown throughout the year and in particular this term. We recognise at times that it has not been easy as we ride the “coronacoaster” together, but we are thankful for the spirit of support and encouragement that we have amongst our community at Heathmont College.
Often when it’s a hive of activity in the home during lockdown, it can be difficult to find the time to sit back to look at what you have achieved during this time and how much you have grown through this experience. It is now time to take a well-earned break for the school holidays. Time to sit back, enjoy some beautiful spring sunshine, breathe, and allow some space to reflect on this term.
The 2 weeks of holidays are also a great time to practice some self-care as you reward yourself for the strength, and at times pure grit, that it has taken to get through this time. Remember to take some time to reconnect with others and yourself, practice gratitude, acknowledge our emotions, practice kindness and most of all make sure you get some quality sleep!
Looking for some fun and engaging activities you can do at home? Attached are some resources with some ideas that you can do at home during this holiday period.
Keep an eye on the Heathmont College Wellbeing Activities website for some udpated ideas and activities for the holidays.

Remember to look out for yourself and others during this time. Don’t forget to ask for help if you need it!
