German

Year 8 students had a Major Assessment Task where they had to create a weather report in German. See some excellent examples below by Charlotte T and Patricia C. Wunderbar! 

Year 7 Beth G showed excellent engagement by following a choc-chip cookie recipe completely in German! 

Merinda C in Year 9 was one of the students who participated in the German competition last month. She really enjoyed the experience and wrote a reflection about it.

Indonesian 

Year 8 students have been recording  description of their houses in Indonesian. See some awesome examples below from Shae N, Alexander T, and Cooper K! 

Flourish 

Students from 71 Flourish created a Mentimeter poster to ask everyone if they're okay in various languages for RU OK Day. 

Monash House

English 

Students in Year 9 English are writing creative pieces on Shaun Tan's graphic novel, 'Tales from the Inner City'. Evie Ta wrote an incredible poem based on the short-story, Tiger. 

Media 

Student in Year 9 Media had to create a movie poster. They had to choose a genre that they were interested in and then do research into the codes and conventions into that genre. These are the final results! 

Art 

Our 7 and 8's have been working on a Lockdown Diary MAT which involves a range of short tasks from www.juniourlockdowndiary.weeble.com that students can choose from and creating a stop motion film is one of those tasks. Here is a stop-motion video created by Year 7 Ellie W.
