International Hospital Federation Awards deadline extended to 30 April

Due to overwhelming demand, entry submissions for the 2018 International Hospital Federation (IHF) Awards has just been extended to 30 April. Hospitals and healthcare organizations that have outstanding projects and programs can still enter.

The IHF Awards Committee has announced that they will be extending the deadline of entries to give more organizations an opportunity to nominate exemplary programs that deserve international recognition.

  • IHF/EOH Excellence Award for Leadership and Management in Healthcare
  • IHF/Austco Excellence Award for Quality & Safety and Patient-centered Care

World Hospital Congress - just 6 months until the Congress starts!

ISQua's CEO, Peter Lachman, is a champion for the World Hospital Congress, this year taking place in Brisbane, Australia.

The World Hospital Congress is the annual conference of the International Hospital Federation. Each year it is hosted by an IHF member and in 2018 that will be the Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association (AHHA) who will host the event in Brisbane from 10 to 12 October 2018. The event itself brings hospital and health service leaders from around the globe together to share views and experiences, network and develop excellence in healthcare and hospital's leadership.

The overarching theme of the 2018 World Hospital Congress is “How can healthcare evolve to meet 21st century demands?” which will be examined through a series of focused sub topics examining issues of transformation, integration and value. The program is currently being released with speakers announced to date here and an overview of the program here.
