Year 8 News

It is timely to acknowledge some of the changes and achievements that our Year 8 students have made. Many students discovered the importance of being at school in regards to social interactions and classroom culture. Others have relished the opportunity to improve their study habits and overall organisation skills. Many students have kept up to date and completed assessment tasks.

With holidays coming up very quickly, it will be a great opportunity for the Year 8s to recharge and get motivated for a fresh start in Semester 2.

Year 9 News

Well done on settling back into school.

A few reminders:

  • homework help is not running at the moment
  • bring your own headphones and stationery; sharing equipment is not advisable during a pandemic
  • make sure to charge your Chromebook every night, we can’t have students charging it in class!

We have read through our students' thoughts about online learning and life during lockdown - we are really impressed with the maturity that our Year 9 students have shown, and the strategies used for staying happy and motivated in their educational and personal lives. We have put these on the wall in the Year 9 corridor.
