 Year 7 Humanities Class

Carrying on from last week, in Year 7 Knights and Samurais (History) students have been learning about feudal Japanese cultural traditions and the impact of religion and meditation on the Samurai.

Students are working on creating a Zen Garden. Students are to build their own Zen Garden and submit their pictures of their Zen Gardens. 

Cultivating a Zen Garden is said to put one in a meditative state, my thought being that in these uncertain times, cultivating a Zen Garden and being in a calm and meditative state is not a bad thing.
