A message from the Bridge Company: An update on the Echuca-Moama Bridge Project.

Road safety is very much on our minds as College starts back.

Please act with care when walking, driving and parking along Crofton and Dickson Streets, as extra trucks are carrying material to the worksite near the College.

Dickson Street will be busy! So:

  • If you don’t need to cross Dickson Street, please don’t.
  • When, leaving the College we encourage students to stay on the same footpath on the west side of Dickson Street.
  • If picking students up it may even be useful to organise a pick-up point in High Street instead and have students walk to that point.

What’s changed:

  • New restricted parking zones on Crofton Street.
  • More car and truck activity on Warren, Crofton and Dickson Streets.
  • Piling work (driving columns into the ground to build solid bridge foundations) has started at the Campaspe River work site, from May until September 2020.
  • Pedestrian and cycling access is available into Scenic Drive at the end of Crofton Street, but please observe signage to direct you to designated pedestrian paths as it is busy near the Project Construction zone.
  • Pedestrian access to the Boat Ramp/Scenic Drive is best available via Watson Street, and the levee bank near the river, beside the caravan park.
