Healthy Headspace Workshops

Headspace Collingwood is running four weekly informative workshops for young people, where they will learn important information and skills that can help improve their mental health and wellbeing.

COLLINGWOOD COLLEGE GREEN TEAM REPORT

On September 25th, activists all across Australia rallied in what was the most widespread movement against publicly funded gas in our country’s history. Over 630 actions were registered across the country, each conforming to the local COVID-19 restrictions. Over 30 unions, together representing 1.5 million workers joined the protest and social media was flooded with protest pictures from across the country. 

The reason for this uproar is simple. Prime Minister Scott Morrison plans to invest the billions of dollars of COVID-19 recovery money into the gas industry which will continue to pollute the environment and lead us deeper into the climate crisis. 

Many Collingwood College students created signs, did their own mini protests in their area and sent photos to the Collingwood College Green Team. We have shared these photos with the wider school community and you can find them on the Collingwood College Green Team Instagram.
