Cooking:

Foundation - 2

Students have been learning all about bees and how bees make honeycomb and honey. They were able to see me in action with my new beehive (via video) and got to taste some fresh honey. Next lesson we plan to make some honey joys.

 

Year 3/4

This week the 3/4 classes will be making different things in order to use some of the fresh produce from our garden. 3/4 A enjoyed making broad bean bruschetta.

They enjoyed the clean up and doing the dishes at the end too.

Year 5/6

Students enjoyed making budda bowls with lots of fresh veggies and quinoa

Gardening:

The garden is providing us with so many delicious treats at the moment. This week, Foundation and Grade 1 students have been harvesting carrots, cherries, strawberries and rhubarb for the kitchen. We enjoyed tasting cherries from our school's orchard and can't wait to hear what Elisa and her students cook up with the rest.
