Principals' Message

A message from Alison and Greg,

Dear Parents/Students and Carers,

We hope that you are all well and you are having quality family time this week. We would like to thank our school community for the way that you have taken on this new way of learning. Living through this COVID-19 pandemic will be a history lesson for our younger generations in the future.

With a lot of change, it is important to get feedback at key times so students, staff and parents are given the opportunity to voice how the home learning process is going. We have attached a link to a quick survey below. It would be wonderful to get some feedback from students and parents about how they are going during this period. We would aim to ask parents and carers, students and staff to fill in the same survey at a later date this year. This way we can see how we have grown as a school and changed to meet the many new challenges along the way.

We know as a school community we will get through this and we are very proud of everyone. Professionalism and compassion have been evident on so many occasions. Thank you to our wonderful school community as we look to the future with hope. Be kind to yourselves and know that we are all in this together and we will get through this together.

God Bless and thank you for all of your support this term. Please rest over the Easter break and we look forward to our lives returning to normal as soon as possible.

Introducing School TV

Dear Parents & Carers,

"It’s never been more challenging for parents to raise happy, healthy and resilient children.

Like never before, parents need to be informed with clear, fact-based information on the many challenges faced by today’s youth. Topics such as youth anxiety, depression, self-harm, cyberbullying and many others need clear explanation and guidance.

SchoolTV is a new ongoing resource that is now available to our parents. Each edition will address a major topic with expert interviews, fact sheets, parent quiz, recommended apps, books and much more. SchoolTV aggregates information from many great resources such as BeyondBlue and ReachOut, amongst others. SchoolTV provides a single stream of independent factual information that saves parents time and confusion of searching online across multiple sites for information.

You can access the SchoolTV archive here:

We would also like to draw your attention to the following very important websites:

Please take the time to familiarise yourself with this great resource so together we can ensure that our children have safe and enjoyable experiences online.

Have a wonderful Easter break!

Alison and Greg
