Acting Principal

Mr Chris Grimmer

CONGRATULATIONS!

Congratulations to Cain Berryman who recently took out an award for Building & Construction for VET wood trades at Mildura Senior College. Cain is in year 10 at Merbein P-10 College but is completing a year 11 VET subject, which means he successfully took out the award over the many other year 10, 11 & 12 students who were completing the same subject. Cain was also nominated for student of the year, which is a real credit to him. Many of our students have the opportunity to explore different pathways through TAFE, VET courses and so on and it’s terrific to see students such as Cain excelling in his area of interest.

YEAR 10 STUDENTS

Students are currently working towards completing tasks as we near the end of the year and our Year 10 students are beginning to work through their exams. It is extremely important that our Year 10's continue to provide strong role models for all other students and that they work hard to leave a positive legacy when they complete their time at Merbein P-10 College.

Just a reminder that we have a number of important dates in December, including our Merbein P-10 Awards night at Club Da Vinci on Monday 16th December.

Asthma - Thunderstorm Alert

We are currently in the peak season for Thunderstorm Asthma, and with the large number of dust storms we are also experiencing, it is timely to re-visit your Asthma Plans.  If your child has Asthma please ensure the school has an up-to-date Asthma Management Plan and that they bring their reliever medication to school with them.  Please contact your doctor if you need to update your child’s plan.

PUPIL FREE DAY REMINDER

Monday 2nd December is our last Pupil Free Day.  Staff will be involved in professional learning and planning for 2020.

There will be no school for students on this day.
