IMPORTANT END OF YEAR INFORMATION

  • PAYMENTS CLOSE: Compass transactions and Cash Transations will close at 4pm on Wednesday 18th December   The office will not be able to take any payments after 10am on Thursday 19th December.  Please ensure all accounts are finalised before then.
  • Book packs will be available from Wednesday 11th December, once school charges have been paid.  For speedy collection, please  bring proof of payment with you.  Please Note: Families with Foundation Students may collect all student book packs on Tuesday 10th December.
  • Student banking  closes next week for 2019 and will resume in 2020
  • RHSports (Uniform Shop) closes on 20th December 2019 and will reopen on Thursday, 2nd January 2020. 
  • Last day of Term 4 is Friday 20th December.  
  • Students will be dismissed early, at 1:30pm. Please make the appropriate arrangements so your child is met at this time.
  • If your child has an EpiPen or other medication stored at the office, please collect before 1:00pm on the last day.
  • All students will start back at school on Thursday 30th Jan 2020.
  • Foundation students will not attend on  Wednesdays until March 2020
  • Book pack payment and pickup will be January 28th  &  29th,  FROM 8:45am- 11am 

EVENTS/ACTIVITIES ON COMPASS

We, of course, have many activities throughout the school, most permissions and payments are paid/granted via Compass. 

If you see an activity below, which may be relevant, please go to the Compass website to provide permission and/or payment.

Canteen News

QKR

In 2020 all lunch orders and Special Food days will be processed via Qkr.

If you have not yet done so, you can download the Qkr app or go via  the Qkr website. If you require any assistance with setting this up, please ask our lovely admin staff.

A Qkr reminder will be sent out early in Term 1 for families to update their child’s class details. Please make sure you have your notifications enabled. Please remember to choose the correct class, otherwise lunches will be sent to the class that has been assigned.

Please remember to add or create a new account for incoming Foundation students. Students are able to have more than one account. Mum, Dad, Guardians or Grandparents can all have their own accounts.

 

Don't forget to choose a bag option, by searching for the Bag category in the top bar and choosing between supplying your own or paying for a paper bag.

 

A new online sign-up roster for volunteering in the canteen will be sent out early first term.

 

Sign up for QKR. It is a really easy app!

Please see the instructions at the end of this article to register on QKR. If you find you are unable to do so, please bring your device to the school office, and we will do our utmost to help you .

 

Some useful points about QKR:

  • EASY
  • No need to worry about lost money, orders or if your child hands in the order
  • No need to raid the piggy bank for coins or wait at the office to do an Eftpos transaction, you can do it from the comfort of your armchair as much as two weeks in advance
  • Very safe payment method. QKR is operated by Mastercard and comes with guaranteed safety. (Naturally, though, you don't need a mastercard to pay. Most major cards can be accepted.)
  • No extra charges, topping  up: - just pay as you go.
  • You can use it to order cup cakes for your child's birthday, special foods and other activities as they occur (recently, we offered the Christmas Raffle via QKR)
  • already widely used in neighbouring schools
  • When placing a lunch order, don't forget to opt in for a bag option. See the two graphics below

 

You can cancel canteen orders if your child changes their mind, right up to 8.30am on the day.  You just need to decide to order something else or if you want it kept as credit for later.

And if your child likes the same thing each week, you can copy from one week to the next. Just select 'repeat order' in the calendar section.
