New Arrivals - June
Scholastic’s Book club and Book Fair
This term we will not be running our Book Clubs because we are holding a Scholastic Book Fair.
The Book Fair will run from Monday August 1st to Wednesday to August 3rd.
Scholastic Bookfair Theme: Paws for Books. Come, Stay, Read a Great Tale!
On Monday and Tuesday each class will walk through the book fair to create a wish-list which they will take home on the day they create them.
On Tuesday and Wednesday the Book Fair will be open during Primary Parent Teacher Interviews to allow parents to visit the Book Fair with their children whilst on site. We will also be looking for parent volunteers to support us in operating our Book Fair during the interview times. We will also open during Recess and Lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Book Week
To celebrate Book Week, we invite all students and families to come to school dressed up as their favorite book character on Thursday 25 August at 9.10am.
Our aim is to have all students dress up as their favourite character or a character that
relates to the Book Week Theme for 2022: Dreaming with eyes open.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone’s creative costumes!
