Premier's Reading Challenge

We have had 112 children complete the Challenge. Congratulations everyone. This Challenge was voluntary for Stages 2 and 3 and I was so pleased to see many children in these stages completer the Challenge.

Certificates will be given out later in the year when we receive them. 

Book Week

Thank you to everyone who participated in Book Week. It was a great week and Pyjama Day was certainly a very easy way to dress for the day. Our Reading by Torchlight was a wonderful evening and it was a great night with so many parents/grandparents attending our school.

Our Book Fair was a great success and we thank Readers Companion in Armidale for providing us with such a high-quality selection of books. I really like to support our Local Book Shop and if you haven't visited Readers Companion in Armidale it is a wonderful way to spend some time. We sold over $2000 worth of books which is fantastic and as a result we get a commission and can purchase more beautiful books for our children. Thank you to all those that visited during the week and a big, big thank you to those that donated books to our library. Your child should have already been able to borrow their donated book.
