Stage 3

As part of our Stage 3 imaginative writing unit in Term 2, 5/6L have commenced a personal writing project, with the aim of producing an original imaginative text in the style of their choice. The process has included conferencing sessions to streamline ideas as well as the requirement for a detailed plan/rationale to keep the process on track. 

In dedicated sessions across Term 2 and the start of Term 3, the class has used the skills learned throughout the course of the English program such as personification, metaphor and imagery as well as adopting suggestions from peer-feedback sessions, using LPS’ kind, specific and helpful delivery to improve the quality of our writing.
