Overdue Library Books
Parents and carers of students with overdue library books will receive a message via Seesaw. Please have your child/ren look at home for any overdue library books and return to the library as soon as possible. If overdue books can't be located please contact Mrs Matthews or Mrs Stephens.
Library Monitors
To support our younger students to access our non-fiction resources the LPS library monitors have been working hard. They have installed new visual labels to help students quickly scan through the collection to find what they are interested in. We have seen a massive increase in K-2 students borrowing non-fiction books. Great work library monitors, your work has delivered a valuable improvement.
This year library monitors are mentoring other students to develop their library skills. They have supported students with managing loans, returns, cataloguing and contacting books.
The Library monitors have taken on greater responsibility to support other students with accessing games, colouring in, online wordle and our chess competition.
If you know one of our Library monitors, please support us by acknowledging their commitment and effort.
