School Fees

Dear KDC Community, 

You have probably noticed that something odd happened to the way school fees are notified and paid this year. This was a new DET Parent Payment policy which has caused lots of issues in schools and has confused many parents. In the attached letter, I have tried to explain what is going on to and to clarify the situation KDC is now in. Our community has always had a very supportive attitude towards fees and we have always tried to be reasonable and genuine in our approach to these payments. Fees have never been compulsory but in an attempt to clean up some bad behaviour in some schools, every school got caught up in this new policy.
