Semester 1 Reports

@ KDC

Dear Parents/Guardians, Semester One Academic reports for 2022 are now available. To access a student's report, you will need to login to Compass and through the Browser, click on the link:  "View Academic Reports" (You will find this to the left of the screen). Please click on the link "2022 Semester One" from the Reporting Cycle Options and the report will open as a PDF document which can be saved and printed. As teachers have been providing students and parents with progressive feedback (continuous reporting) via Compass Learning Tasks throughout the year, these reports will not have traditional comments. For each subject, students will receive the following:

  • Teacher judgements regarding their Work Habits (attitude and effort towards learning in class).
  • Class attendance for the Semester.
  • A summary of percentages given for each of the Learning Tasks (for Year 7-11 reports only). Some tasks will indicate performance using an S (Satisfactory) or N (Not Satisfactory).
  • For Year 11 & 12: S or N judgements based on the demonstration of a Satisfactory understanding of the VCE Outcomes.
  • Victorian Curriculum judgements based on the Achievement Standards demonstrated on a range of skills and content material. As per the Scale Definition, the Victorian Curriculum standard 5 point scale, ranges from 1 - 5, where 1 is two standard points below the age expected level, 5 is two standard points above the age expected level and 3 is at the age expected level.

Please note that our Learning Tasks are designed in such a way that an achievement of 40-79% is indicative that the student is at the expected level. To achieve a percentage of 80% or above, is an indication that a student is achieving ‘above the standard’ expected for that level. If you have any questions or concerns regarding a student's Semester 1 Report, please contact the relevant classroom teacher, Homegroup Teacher, or House.

regards Reporting & Assessment Team.
