AROUND THE SCHOOL

We are never alone in sharing the faith, because it is the Lord with me who transmits the faith, and Jesus promised: “I will be with you every day until the end of the world.”

SPECIAL FRIENDS MORNING

What a wonderful way to celebrate Catholic Education Week!  Foundation, Grade 1 and 2 students invited a Special Friend to visit us for the morning.  We enjoyed playing Maths games and creating some beautiful craft items with our friends.  A big thank you to everyone who took the time to visit, especially those who travelled long distances.  Aunty Em wins the "Aunty of the Year' flying day from Queensland to enjoy the day with Lukah.

INCURSIONS

Zimboyz

What an amazing performance from Zimboyz. They thrilled, AND scared us, with their incredible juggling, acrobatics and death-defying balancing act.

Lucas Proudfoot

On Monday we were entertained by Lucas Proudfoot, an indigenous storyteller who enthralled us with his stories, guitar, stomp box, and didgeridoo playing.

Naidoc Week

For NAIDOC Week, Foundation students heard the story of 'The Stolen Generation', and made these special hands. It was their way to recognise and say 'sorry' for this awful event in Australia's history.

PRAYER

Dear Gracious Father,

I praise You for my family.

Thank you for my family.

Even in their weaknesses,

I love them unconditionally.

Thank you for my children

Every time I hear the pitter-patter of their feet around the house I smile.

Joy overwhelms me Father!

Be with my family today as they go their separate ways.

Bring us all back home safely to each other I pray.

Amen.
