Sports Update

On June 7 our year 7 and 8 girls competed in Junior Girls Football at Lloyd Park in typical Melbourne conditions, there was rain, hail, wind and a little bit of sunshine but for the most part of the day it was freezing, so it was awesome to see all the girls still enthusiastic about getting out there and representing the college. 

The girls had 4 games with a bye in the last round, our opponents were Frankston High, Patterson River, McClelland College and Mt. Erin.

Results were: 

EMC 13 def. Frankston 5

EMC 22 def. Patto 0 

EMC 13 def. McClelland 1

EMC 14 def. Mt. Erin 6

Undefeated! 

An awesome effort by the girls in challenging conditions to get 4 wins and progress through to the Southern Metropolitan Finals which will be held at Lloyd Park again on the 27th July, week 3 of term 3. 

A special shout out goes to our coaches Mr. Booth and Mr. Riggs for helping the girls out.
