Senior School

Senior School Snapshot
With a few weeks left in Term 1, Senior Students will be finding the level of work starting to steadily increase. For many VCE studies, there will be School Assessed Tasks and a range of assessment pieces being completed.
It is an important time to keep focus and not switch in to holiday mode before the break. As the weather cools, it will be easier to hold concentration in class and focus on work. If any students are feeling overwhelmed, please drop by the Senior School office for a chat.
It was brilliant to see so many senior students representing their house at the School Swimming Sports. They excitedly gathered early in the Senior Centre before swimming to show off their costumes. The weather was perfect and the senior cohort was fantastic in creating a positive atmosphere for all Middle School students. Many students who had arranged to leave the Swimming Sports early ended up remaining behind until the conclusion of the day. Well done to Roberts on the win and we are looking forward to a repeat of the feel at the Athletics Carnival next term.
The senior leaders have been working hard on a range of activities and fundraising events. SRC and Interact Clubs have been busy planning activities including The World’s Greatest Shave which is being run on Friday 16 March. Staff will be literally putting a price on their own heads to raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation. Koonung Secondary College has been a proud supporter of this cause for many years.
