Year 12 interviews 

As end of term is approaching all Year 12s must book a compulsory Career’s Interview for 1st term. Please book in on the Career Interview Sheets outside the Careers Office.

 

Year 10 -Work Experience 

Work Experience is being held from Monday 25th June to Friday 29 June 2018 (last week of Term 2). Students must have their blue forms completed by Friday 16 March, 2018. Outside the Careers Office is a Careers Board and it has an area dedicated to work experience. Students can check the board and also discuss placements, should you need assistance, at the Careers Office.

ACU One-on-one appointments

Melbourne: 26 March, 1:30pm – 6pm

Book a time to come and speak to an ACU careers advisor to ask any questions you have about study, future career goals, finances, and university admissions. You can also make a telephone appointment if you can’t make it on campus.

A Day at Melbourne

Friday 6 April, 9am – 3:30pm

Find out about the University of Melbourne’s courses, including how the Melbourne Model works, undergraduate and postgraduate study, admissions information, and other necessary information about studying at Unimelb.

AIE Online Experience Day

Saturday 5 May, 12pm – 4pm AEST

Find out about studying 3D animation, game design or visual effects through course overview sessions and online workshops. If you can’t get to a campus, this is a great way to find out about AIE from the comfort of your own home.

Deakin: Step on Campus

5 – 6 April & 11 – 13 April, 10am & 12pm daily

Deakin’s Melbourne Burwood, Geelong Waurn Ponds, Geelong Waterfront and Warrnambool campuses are holding Step on Campus events for potential future students. You’ll have the opportunity to be taken on a guided tour of your local Deakin campus with a current student, asking any questions along the way.

RMIT: Experience Surveying

The first Experience Surveying event for the year will be held on 12 April, 2pm – 3pm at Yarra Bend Park.

Find out about a career in land surveying as well as your study options in the field at RMIT. At this session you’ll be able to take part in practical activities and speak to staff about your options.

VETiS , Apprenticeships and Traineeships

Students have settled in their VETiS courses very well. Please remember to ring the absence line if your child will not be attending their VETiS. Students can only miss 2 sessions per semester. Please provide a medical certificate if your child is in Year 12.
