Primary Dance Group visit Bushland Nursing Home

On Wednesday 25 October, a few of the Primary students went to Bushland Nursing home to perform. Five groups performed:

Miss Bevan’s dance group
Sebastian Vergara and his puppet Phil
Spencer Farland performed Fur Elise on the piano
Esther Smith, Lara Coleman, Abigail Donaldson & Eliza Davy performed a dance/drama called Write Your Story
Amiah De Wright, Katie Alley, Miriam Alley, Logan Morris & Noah De Wright performed a troll dance

Everybody did so well and we all had fun!

Thank you, our College community, with your help we raised $1425.00 for CanTeen.

Below is a Rap that a couple of our leaders wrote and performed to our Primary and Secondary Assemblies to encourage their involvement. Very entertaining Adele Brotherton and Katie Reeman we called them the "Bandanna Blonds"!

DONE IN TRUE HIP HOP STYLE...

Hey guys, my name is Katie and this is Adele.

We hope you don't think our rhymes smell.

Bandannas are what we are selling tomorrow.

So ask your parents if you can borrow,

$5 for a great cause.

We will be sure to give you an applause.

You can wear them all week,

and look super unique.

The money goes towards kids with cancer,

and raising the funds might,

give doctors the answer.

So watch out for us in the playground and classroom.

They sell out quick so you better zoom.

So you can wear bandanna's in every room.

So just to recap,

so we can end the rap.

A bandanna is $5,

and there are lots of colours.

We are selling them all week starting tomorrow,

so come on down and buy one bro...

Year 10 Work Experience 2017

Well, another year down and another very successful Work Experience program for our Year 10 students. We had so many wonderful companies on board to give of their time and service in helping our students experience 'real life' job situations. We thank you, our community for your support!
