Melbourne Aquarium Excursion

On Friday the P-2 Students went down to Melbourne for our excursion. We went to the Marine Life Exhibition at the Melbourne Museum and the Melbourne Aquarium. How lucky are we to get to visit two very exciting places in one day!? Here is what some of the students in 1/2C thought of the day.

At the aquarium we got to see the biggest sting ray. And we got to see a 4D Ice Age movie. It was a bit scary at first. Even Mrs Robertson had a little squeal when the wind blew on us. – Declan

On the school excursion I went to the Melbourne museum then the aquarium. In the museum I saw the t-rex skull. In the aquarium I liked the Ice Age movie part. – Caleb

I went to the Aquarium. I had heaps of fun. I watched a movie with special glasses. I liked it. We found it was so funny too. I had a good day at the Aquarium. I said good bye at the Aquarium then we had food then we went home.  – Indy

At the aquarium, students got in groups and the group had a group leader. Our one was Peta. We saw a salt water crocodile named Pinjara. She was huge!! At the museum, the main thing I saw was the dinosaur skeletons. – Liam

My favourite part of the excursion was seeing Pinjara. She is a giant Salt water crocodile who used to live on a farm and ate cows! Now she doesn’t like eating fish so she eats chickens instead but only the brown ones. - Angus
