VET Awards

On Tuesday 12th November the  Annual CCLLEN VET in Schools Excellence Awards were held at the Moama Bowling Club.  A massive thanks go to the CCLLEN who organise and run the event which allows us to celebrate the work that students undertake in all the different VET categories each year.  We are also pleased that VCAL was added to the list, allowing us to nominate two high achieving VCAL students.   St. Joseph’s College was also immensely proud to have 21 students nominated in seven VET categories.

To be eligible for the VET awards students needed to be nominated by their teacher, they needed to submit a  résumé, a student details form and must have completed Structured Work Placement in the VET subject they were nominated for.  All students were then interviewed by a panel of three judges.  Congratulations must go to all students who were nominated and especially to those who were the eventual winners of each VET subject.
