THIS WEEK IN ART

Our students have been very busy this last term trying to finish work and be all ready for Portfolio time and our Open afternoon. 

As a springboard for their theme in the classroom on ROBOTS, the Level one and two students completed a unit of work around designing a robot. You can see some of the beautiful examples of these designs. 

Last term the Level three and four students studied the incredible art journey of Dutch artist Piet Mondrian, whose abstract works followed the Cubist style of art. They had so much fun recreating his most famous painting, Composition in Red, Blue and Yellow.
