Performing Arts

It’s been a busy term in the Music room with so much wonderful music making happening across all levels.  In the junior school the Foundation students have been learning about dynamics, while the Level 1 and 2 students have been learning some very tricky songs on the marimbas.

In the senior school the Level 3 and 4 students have been learning the recorder and the Level 5 and 6 students have been creating their own soundtracks to a short film.

Keep an eye out on your child’s Seesaw account for some of the incredible work they have been doing this term.

Although our ensembles were unable to perform at the scheduled Open Afternoon last week, I would like to acknowledge all of the students’ hard work that went into preparing for this performance and I look forward to the Rangeview community being able to enjoy the many talents of these students in the near future.

Please note that there will be NO BAND OR SENIOR CHOIR REHEARSALS in week 7 of term (7th and 8th of June) while the Level 6 students are on camp.
