Winter and Summer Sports
An Operoo email message will be sent shortly to all Year 5 and 6 parents with team updates and further information about the Winter Sport days.
Parent helpers have been contacted in regards to coaching and umpiring for our teams.
The matches for each team at each venue will begin at 10:00am and the final match concluding at 2:00pm. At the conclusion of each day’s play, students will return to school by bus.
It is important that all St Simon uniforms supplied are washed and kept in a secure place at your child’s home so it can be used on the second day of games on Friday 10th June.
On Friday 10th June at the end of the day’s games, all uniforms will be returned to Mr Karl Camerino to be cleaned and used for future sporting events.

Congratulations to Isabelle Le who has made it through to the second set of trails for the Team Vic Girls Football squad. We wish her the best of luck in the next round with selecting the final team.
Team Vic opportunities are open to students in year 5 and 6 who possess a unique talent in a particular sport. If you wish to know more information or wish to put your child forward to try out for a Team Vic squad please visit the website below.

Winter Sport Training
Morning training sessions for all teams will be offered to prepare our teams for the Winter Sport competition.
These are the dates for the following teams training sessions

Year 5 and 6 teachers will be also conducting training during the school day to build team communication, knowledge of the game and team spirit.
Knox Division AFL Girls Championships
We wish our AFL Girls team the very best as they begin their training for the Division AFL Girls Championships.
We will be meeting on the school oval for the training sessions. If rain is expected the morning of the training session, the location of the training will change to the school hall. Parents will need to drop their children at the school hall if it is raining.
