Tertiary Information Session (TIS)

Representatives from a number of mainland universities will be in attendance at the 2022 TIS. This is being held on 1 June at the University of Tasmania between 1-2.30pm. This has been advertised to Year 12 students and early next week students will be asked to nominate if they would like to attend the event as part of a School group. The list of universities being represented has also been advertised to students. As part of the session, there will be a presentation on applying to mainland universities.

Subject Selection Evening

7pm, Thursday 9 June at Clemes

This is a chance for students and parents/carers to find out more information about some of the subjects offered, and to speak with teachers about different courses.

Cyber Safety Presentation

Cyber Safety expert Susan McLean will be presenting to Clemes students on the 9th of June.

Susan’s session Let's Get Real! - What you really need to know about staying safe online will challenge all students to stop and think about what they do online and what the consequences might be for them, not only today, but for the rest of their lives. Susan has extensive experience in this space, from her first report of cyberbullying in 1994 to her training with the FBI, her visits to Facebook and Instagram, and her work with elite sports clubs and other organisations.
