Chaplain's Corner 2022
Hello MPS Family
It is hard to believe we are in the middle of term! For me it has been a productive start being able to support students and run my social groups most of the time. As I do this I watch the amazing MPS staff juggle all their duties and many of them above and beyond duties as well. I am very proud to work here every week.
Last newsletter I mentioned that the social groups were reading the book as part of the activity was "My Mouth is a Volcano" by Julia Cook. This fortnight we have been drawing volcanoes and discussing the reasons a volcano can "explode". We are then relating it back to how when we get angry or bottle up our thoughts, feelings and words then if we don't learn strategies we too can "explode". I hope to put some of our activities up for viewing in the next week or so. In the meantime here are a few of the drawings from this week:

Change of working days
As mentioned in Class Dojo last week I have changed my first working day of the week to Tuesdays going forward. My other working day of Friday, remains the same. Please feel free to contact me on these days or through Class Dojo.
