Habitat Helpers

The Prep-Grade 2 students learned how to reduce, reuse and recycle as they considered the importance of sustainability. As part of this Integrated topic, we had an incursion called Habitat Helpers. Students discovered the impact of pollution, logging, overfishing and poor water management on the local communities. Working together, they tackled the sustainability issues and created local actions to address the problems in each region they visited. During this incursion, the students had an opportunity to actively participate in a roleplay where they assisted “Earth Girl” and traveled to different global destinations to help save the planet! Well done to all our new Habitat Helpers!
