Learning and events in our school this week:
- A great effort in Cross Country Competition last Friday and for encouraging each other and praiseworthy behaviour!!
- Naplan continues for Yr 3 and 5 today and tomorrow. A great effort in preparing for the assessment and being well organised.
- Excursion to Xavier College on Tuesday to see their production “Beauty and the Beast”
- Social Justice and Mini Vinnies to speak to classes about “Fill the Van”
- Walk to school day on Thursday - SRC will distribute stickers.
- School closure on Friday - we need to leave the bag areas clean and pack away our things in the classroom.
- Writing in senior classes
- Spelling in Prep
- Waiting for the cocoon to open in the junior area (Science)
- Stewardship for Inquiry/RE in 5/6
- Creating a book about ourselves using book creator in 1/2

SRC Representative ACTIONS for this week
School Leaders and SRC will be looking out for students ‘Caught Being Good’.
They will be nominating students who are responsible, respectful and ready to learn.
Discuss what these qualities look like.
Respectful - listening, waiting turn, walking through corridor quietly, greeting/speaking to people politely
Responsible - throwing rubbish in the bin, picking up rubbish, returning sports equipment, helping others, kindness
Ready to Learn - listening to the speaker, having materials ready for learning, being on time in class or at school.
