Student report on Vocal Night

On Wednesday 11 May Vocal Night was held in the Lecture theatre. Many acts were performed from each year level, from year 7 through to year 12. 

Throughout the term every act practised during their vocal sessions or lunchtimes in the music rooms. Having the chance to perform in front of parents,carers and family was an extraordinary experience for everyone of us.  

Students were invited to join the All Star Choir, while also having the chance to express their voices with other students that they may not know. The All Star Choir sang the songs Beautiful City and Kuimba along with Madrigal singing the Climb by Miley Cyrus. During the All Star Choir performance Mr Yong, Ms Harvey and Mr Veevers sang the third part as well as with a group of percussion students creating the music in the background. Overall the night was a huge success,with many families proud of their kids' voices and also being able to view other performances too.

A huge congratulations to everyone who performed at Vocal Night and thank you to all the teachers who helped make this night happen. Also a huge props to Ms Harvey, Mr Yong and Mr Veevers for singing along with the All Star Choir performance. We all appreciate you singing with us.

Thank you to Ms West for making Vocal Night all happen. From helping everyone one practise their acts while not only teaching the All Star Choir and Madrigal their songs. This night couldn’t have happened without you.
