Please note this is an adults only event and may contain some low-level coarse language. There will be a lucky door prize and raffle prize drawn on the night (remember to bring some cash for raffle tickets – the prizes are from a range of fabulous local businesses).
All money raised on the night will go towards the AstroTurf Replacement Fund.
Crazy Hair WALK-A-THON – Tuesday May 17th
What an amazing time everyone had at the Walkathon this week! We were very lucky with the weather, and all the children put in their best efforts to do as many laps as possible.
A big thank you to the Ashford Family who donated the printing for the lap cards, and the Grubesic Family for donating the bubble machines and balloon columns that made the day so much fun.
Also thank you to Flynn House Captains Gigi and Claudia, who not only helped with set up and pack up, but led the junior students around the track for their laps.
It was great to see so many teachers get into the crazy hair spirit, and also have so many parents step in from the sidelines and help mark off lap cards.
Sponsorship money
The next step is to collect all your donations and make sure you submit them via the Compass Course Confirmation/Payment section on your Compass Parent Portal before Friday 27 May. All proceeds will go towards the AstroTurf Replacement Fund.
Prizes
Every child who returns their sponsorship money on time will go into the draw to win one of four $25 Ben’s Book vouchers.
Election Day Sausage Sizzle- Saturday 21st May
OPS Election Day sausage sizzle was a great success! We would have not been able to put sausage to bread without our sensational parent volunteers who gave up their time on Election Day Saturday to support our school. There were some inspiring tong skills on the BBQ! Our final amount raised is still being counted but we will give the community an update when that comes through. The Ormond Primary School Community we would like to thank;

Working Bee - Sunday 19th June
