Introducing Georgia - our new Junior School Counsellor at South Plympton

We are delighted to introduce Georgia Akiki, our new school counsellor for F-Year 6 students at South Plympton Campus.

Georgia brings a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for supporting teachers and children in building positive relationships and resilience.

Georgia holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology (Counselling and Interpersonal Skills) and has gained valuable experience serving as a school counsellor in three department schools. She is completing postgraduate qualifications in the field.

Georgia is actively involved in her local church alongside her husband. In her spare moments, Georgia enjoys baking, cooking, and exploring new restaurants.

Georgia will be working closely with the Junior School staff and leadership to provide support for your children, and is looking forward to joining the team!

Georgia's working days will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Please say "hi" and make Georgia feel welcome.

As always, if you would like to request counselling support for your child, you can make a referral on the Wellbeing Support page on the Emmaus Website.
