Pathway planning is a significant part of a young person’s education. Emmaus staff feel privileged to work with families to create opportunities where students can continue to belong, flourish, respond and think.

We look forward to supporting you as we work together through these final stages of learning at the College.

Blessings,

The Resilience Project - Mindfulness

Today’s presentation from The Resilience Project is all about Mindfulness.

Mindfulness is our ability to be present at any given moment. We practise this by using intentional awareness and concentrating on what you are doing when you are doing it.

Thousands of studies into mindfulness indicate that with regular practice, mindfulness can lead to benefits such as; reduced stress, reduced rumination, increased memory, increased cognitive function and physical health benefits through improved immunity.

Mindfulness can be practised through exercise, prayer, meditation on the word of God, flow-states and daily activities such as cooking, journaling or reading the Bible.
