The Cheltenham St Vincent de Paul Conference Winter Appeal.

Thank you

The members of the Cheltenham St Vincent de Paul Society Conference want to extend their gratitude to the Parish Community for their continuous and extraordinary financial and non-perishable goods support to our conference. We are very thankful to be part of such a generous community and are privileged to extend that generosity to the people in need in our Conference area.

We particularly want to mention the school community especially MiniVinnies, who are busy promoting the Winter Appeal (brilliantly coordinated by the Deputy Principal, Caitlan Taig) and all the parents of the students for their support and generosity. We would not be able to meet the needs of those we serve without you.

What we do.

We help by providing non-perishable food parcels; supermarket cards; part payment of utilities; education grants; furniture and white goods; Vinnies cards; Christmas hampers and a Sunday evenings Bread run. In 2022 we completed 310 home visits and the approximate value of the all the help delivered was $66,860.

We help anyone regardless of race, creed, colour or circumstance. We are a proud (you make us proud) lay Catholic organisation and we strive to have our Conference membership reflect the community we serve.

This means that if you are interested and have the time to become involved in the services provided by our Conference, we welcome you whether you are Catholic, a non-practicing Catholic or not a Catholic. All we ask that you share our values and commitment to uphold the dignity of the Human Person and are in solidarity with those marginalised in the community.

Our visitation commitment is for 1-3 hours each fortnight or participating in the bread run once a month.
