Reach For The Stars!

Congratulations to 2022 Academy Student, Bailey Humphrey who was announced Round 9s Rising Star. He had 20 disposals at 70 per cent efficiency, kicked a goal and took 5 marks in the clubs 70-point win against the West Coast Eagles. 

Celebrity All Star Visit

Bailey Humphrey, Gold Coast Suns celebrity came to visit our students who were abit star struck!

 

 

Lightening Premiership

On the 16th of May, some of our Junior Sports Academy Students went to the primary school Lightening Premiership's to help umpire the events. Well done to all of our students who had amazing feedback as always, making us super proud!

Netball Superstars

Congratulations to Meg O’Reilly and Marah Xerri who recently represented Moe and District Netball Association at the Waverley Tournament.

Soccer Abroad

 Oakleigh Noppert attended a 3-day trial last holidays with scouts from Manchester United and Brentford. Oakleigh was successful in making the13-man squad where he will tour England in October to play against academy teams from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and many more. Great achievement Oakleigh, we can't wait to hear your success. 

 

 

 

 

 

Intermediate and Senior Girls Football

Congratulations to both our Intermediate and Senior school girls who won the first round of football. The Intermediate Girls had a 55 point win against Drouin Secondary, whilst the Senior Girls had a 6 point win against Marist and a 76 point win against Drouin Secondary College.

Both teams are onto the next round on the 25th in Traralgon. Best of luck to both teams!

Junior Volleyball

Both our Junior Boys and Girls Volleyball teams participated in the second round at Morwell Leisure Centre. Unfortunately our girls didn’t make it through to the next round but the boys did. Best of luck to our Junior School Boys who will be playing the state round.

State Swimming

Congratulations to Darcy Connell who came 5th place and Zane Poxon 4th place in the state swimming! Great job boys!  

Gippsland All Stars 2023

Congratulations to Riley Baldi and Strength and Conditioning Coach, Cooper Alger, who have been named in the Senior/U25s squad, whilst Assistant Coach Ramayer Gourley has been named in the Open Red Netball Team with Stacie Gardner being named Head Coach! What an amazing effort from our staff for their dedication to sports outside of here. We really do have some of the best!

District Cross Country

Congratulations to Kyson Cornwall, Mitchel Hansch, Fraser Aubrey, Summer and Miley Cooper who made it through to the second round of Cross Country.

Basketball

Congratulations to Shayla Smith and Lexie Jackson who were selected to attend the Basketball Victoria Future Development Program Country Metro Challenge Camp held in Bendigo!

3x3 Basketball

Congratulations to both the Junior and Intermediate 3x3 Basketball who have made it through to finals. 

Cricketing Superstar- Darcy Walsh

Last season, Darcy captained the Juniors side where he received a league batting aggregate award for his under 14s competition last year, piling on 258 runs with an average of 86.00 in just 8 matches! Darcy also was the A grade lead wicket taker!! Well done Darcy, we are sure you will achieve great things if you keep that up!
