Principals Report

Principal Report

As we come to the end of Term 2, I wanted to congratulate all the students who have strived for their highest.  I encourage all students to read their reports with their parents during the term break and consider how they can further improve for the second semester.  Developing achievable goals and discussing them with their teachers, will help them stay focused to achieve their next level of work. Recently we acknowledged our students of the month for May, and they can be seen below.

Year 7 – Chloe James

Year 8 – Dexter Barret-Woodbridge

Year 9 – Sophie Nieuwenhuis

Year 10 – Declan Chandler

Year 11 – Alex Morris

Year 12 – Neeraj Ramanathan

End of Semester Reports

Progress and Semester Reports will be available for families to access via Compass from 2:30pm on Friday 23rd June. It has been pleasing to see how the students have applied themselves to their learning this semester and achieve great results. I encourage you to hold discussions with your children around their progress and support them to set goals for Semester 2.  I wish to thank Amie Reusch and the leaders of learning team for their relentless work organising the ongoing reporting process.

Winter Concert

Tuesday 13th of June saw us hold our annual Winter concert. Well done to all the students who performed. We are unbelievably lucky to have such a talented group of students at BHS. I’d especially like to acknowledge the work of the music department who continually give up their own time to ensure our students have incredible opportunities.

Year 9 Strive Camp

This week our Year 9 students head off to Lady Northcote Discovery Camp for our annual Year 9 Strive Camp. This camp offers our students a great opportunity to explore their strengths and build a platform for their movement into the senior school. Thanks to all those staff for volunteering to make this opportunity available to our students.

Last day of term

Our last day of Term 2 will conclude at 2.30pm Friday 23rd June.  All buses have been alerted.
