2023 Premier's Spelling Bee 

The Premier's Spelling Bee is a fun and educational way for primary school students to engage with and improve their spelling. The program includes activities that encourage students to become more confident users of language through broadening their vocabulary, and promotes improved literacy skills in conjunction with the NSW English K-10 syllabus.

Over the last few weeks, Stage 2 and Stage 3 students have conducted class spelling bees to choose their top spellers. This week saw the Junior (Stage 2 , Years 3 & 4) and Senior (Stage 3, Years 5 & 6) Premier Spelling Bee school competition take place with some very exciting rounds. The competition was extremely high with Jeremy (3/4PR) being crowned the Junior champion and Sophie C (5/6DA) the Senior champion. Congratulations to both students who will represent the school at the regional finals in August. Best of luck Jeremy and Sophie!
