Spring Concerts

Congratulations to all students who performed in the Spring Concerts held this week in the Performing Arts Centre. From students who started learning their instruments this year, to our student musicians with many years of experience, all ensembles performed to a high level with the support of hundreds of parents and friends.

As a warm-up to these concerts, the Chamber Strings played to senior students in the Upper Courtyard for some lunchtime entertainment.

Jazz Workshop at EDSC

Next Wednesday, Stage Band members have the privilege of working with three distinguished Jazz musicians and educators visiting from the USA.  Dr Aaron Hedenstrom (University of Wisconsin), John Sturino (Stanford University, New York) and Drew Zaremba (University of Northern Colorado) are in Australia to present a Duke Ellington concert, tickets available at:

This special concert is being organised by Toshi Clinch, a renowned Melbourne bass player and ex-student of our very own Mr Palmer.  Thank you to Mr Palmer for his role in organising this amazing workshop at EDSC especially for our students.
