Final ATAR Exam Focus Program
Year 12 Program starts Saturday 22 October
- The Exam Focus program consists of 6 hours of teaching broken up into 2 sessions of 3 hours each,
- The range of subjects has been significantly increased with many of the less popular subjects included in the schedule for the first time.
Fear-Less Triple P Online
Does your child have anxiety that is affecting their everyday life? Does it stop them, or your whole family, from doing certain activities?
Your child may be worried a lot of the time. You may swing between reassuring them and telling them to face their fears. Neither of these seems to work, and their anxiety seems to increase. You may feel like you’ve tried everything, and possibly may be anxious yourself. If parenting a child with anxiety is affecting your life and you’d like to help your child worry less and be more confident, Fear-Less Triple P can help.
This free online, self-paced, interactive positive parenting program will help you support your child to manage their anxiety. Fear-Less Triple P encourages you to use practical strategies with all family members, not just the child who seems especially anxious. In this way, the Fear-Less Triple P program helps the whole family. The program is based on research and experiences working with the families of children and teenagers with anxiety for more than 30 years.
Music of the Night Charity Concert
7pm, Friday 18 November
Come and appreciate the atmosphere and acoustics of an enchanting evening where St Joseph’s Subiaco singers perform renditions of Broadway and contemporary love songs. Highlights include songs from Phantom of the Opera and The Greatest Showman. Special guests Naya Chorale, a renowned local A Cappella group, will also perform.
Cost: $30 (General), $20 (Concession) with proceeds donated equally to Parish supported charities – St Vincent de Paul, Caritas, Uthana Mission and Buckets for Jesus.
