Japanese Day

Japanese Day 2022

It’s time to start thinking COSTUMES! From kimonos, karate outfits, anime characters, to dressing as your favourite Japanese food, item or even landmark, just to name a few!

Think outside the box and come dressed to impress at the fashion parade we will be holding on the day.

We are excited to announce that on Friday, the 4th November, we will be holding our Japanese Day, a day filled with cultural celebrations.  This is a fantastic opportunity for students to dress up in costumes and to explore and engage with an amazing assortment of Japanese cultural activities.

Check out this amazing costume from Japanese Day, 2021. Well done Flynn for such fabulous creativity!

We are thrilled to have authentic Japanese performers coming along on the day to share their skills and expertise, as well as martial arts demonstrations from the Ballarat Kendo Club.

We will also have a special guest appearance by a very well-known ‘shocking’ yellow Pokémon friend…

Stay tuned for further information about Japanese Day in the coming weeks!
