Willow enjoyed our handwriting this week! We practiced writing ‘Ww’ as neatly as we could and came up with this sentence together.

Remy enjoyed our doubles work this week. This is from our ‘write the room’ activity. Students had to find the cards around the room and write the sum next to the matching animal picture. Children enjoyed moving about for maths on such a rainy day!

FB - Miss Deacon

To welcome back Term 4 students did a writing session on their goals and what they are looking forward to! They started off by drawing a picture of themselves from the help of Art Hub which is one of their favourite things to do! Then did their writing. Take a look at Thomas’ and Juniper’s fantastic drawing and writing!

The past 2 weeks students have been working hard on learning their double facts as a part of addition strategies. This week students played ‘Go Fish’ – doubles version! Students played the traditional card game with the twist of finding doubles and writing the sum on their recording sheets, it was loads of fun! Have a look at Maggie and Olive playing so well!

We have started Term 4 superbly in Foundation C. Students are loving our Narrative Unit and exploring character traits as well as physical attributes. 

Rory Si loved drawing the dragon from Room on the Broom, and chose some great words to describe him.

During maths we are building up our double facts and have loved playing ‘Double Trouble’ with a partner. We rolled a dice and then had to find the double quickly on the game board. First to have 4 in a row was the winner!
