Class Updates and Reminders

Grade Prep

Dates to Remember:

  • Beach School - Monday 14th of November (Pending weather)
  • Werribee Zoo- Friday 25th of November 
  • Foundation Dinner- Thursday 1st December

Reminders:

  • Hats: Please remember to have pack or leave a broad brimmed hat at school. This is really important on Beach School days as there is no shade available on the beach. 
  • Library: Prep students have Library each Tuesday, so please help remind your child to pack their library bag and books so as they can borrow. 

Grade 1

Dates to Remember:

  • Library days for Grade One students are on a Monday. Please remember to return your child's books each Monday, so as students can enjoy a variety of texts at home and used within their Independant Reading boxes. 

Reminders:

  • Inquiry Older Person interview presentations will start soon. Please remember to have your child complete the interview and help them find a way they are comfortable with to present what they have learnt i.e., poster, PowerPoint, pictures and cue cards etc.  
  • Homework Books: Please remember that homework books are to be bought to school on a Monday and Friday. Please remind your children to have these in their bags.

Grade 2

Dates to Remember:

  • Swimming is in week 9  (28/11 - 2/12)

Grade 3

Dates to Remember:

  • Swimming is in Week 10 (5/12 - 9/12)
  • End of Year Celebration - Bike Ride - Week 9 (1st of December)

Reminders: 

  • Bike Safety Starts THIS WEEK. Please make sure your children have their bikes and a helmet on their PE days.

Grade 4

Dates to Remember:

  • Every Tuesday is the Grade 4 Garden program, timetable is as follows:
    • Grade 4B, Tuesday the 15th 
    • Celebration Day - 29th of November
  • 24th of November - Camp Info Night (look out for Zoom details soon) 
  • 30th of November - 2nd of December - Camp to Lyrebird Park (more details to come)
  • 6th of December - Excursion to ScienceWorks

Reminders:

  • Lyrebird Park Camp Permission form (due date: Monday the 14th of November)
