Non Fiction
The children in all stages are continuing their work on nonfiction books. Early Stage 1 are learning to tell the difference between fiction and nonfiction books. Stage 1 are finding main ideas and facts. Stage 2 are looking at how nonfiction books are set out and Stage 3 are researching an ugly animal of their choice.

Decluttering the library
Over the next few weeks I will be going through the books in the library and will put out books that are not needed or too old for our library. Children are welcome to take these home and keep them. They will have a barcode that will be crossed out. If you see a book with a barcode crossed out you will not need to send it back to school.
